Writing a video script taught me many new things about this creative process. When I started the script, I was not sure how to structure it or what would be the most effective format. I was not sure whether a list with bullet points, paragraphs, or a simple table would work. So, I investigated further and looked at some examples online, which helped me understand the table structure I needed.
Another important thing that I learned from this activity was the importance of paying attention to detail and planning each second of the video. I not only had to include what would be seen on screen; I also needed to plan the audio, transitions, text that would be shown, and voiceovers. Moreover, even more important was keeping the message consistent, with a good hook, an engaging body, and a good ending that ties the idea together.
Overall, it was a great creative process that helped me practice content creation. It taught me that details are vital for a good production and that good planning can make the editing process much easier for me and those involved in the project. I look forward to working on similar projects to continue improving and creating professional videos.
