My Favorite Writing Projects

My favorite projects this semester were the press release and the news article.

I learned so much about both types of writing. Learning the guidelines for writing headlines and ledes, organizing the structure, choosing the right information, and using the appropriate writing style was really interesting. I realized that I would love to keep working on these kinds of projects because I really enjoyed writing both of them. I would also love to have a job where I can work with these types of writing.

I believe I have improved a lot as a writer, especially when developing my ideas. While I wish I were more creative, I strongly believe creativity comes with practice. I look forward to continuing to practice and improving my writing skills.
